Who we are

Volks Media (ABN 93 364 831 641, "we") builds websites, landing pages and marketing content. Contact: marcus.t@volksmedia.com.au.

What we collect

• About businesses we may contact: business name, published email and phone, website and social links, and public content such as photos and descriptions.
• About clients: contact details, billing details and the content you give us for your page.
• About visitors to our website: what you enter in our forms, and basic analytics that don't use cookies.

Where it comes from

Businesses' own public websites and social channels, public business listings, and what people send us.

Why we use it

To prepare a private concept page, to contact a business about it (once, plus one follow-up), to deliver work we're paid for, and to run our business.

Who we share it with

Service providers we use to operate: website hosting (Cloudflare), email (Microsoft), our online store (Shopify), file storage (Google) and AI tools. Some of these store data overseas, including in the United States. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Prospect information is deleted 90 days after first contact if no purchase is made, except that we keep your email on a do-not-contact list if you unsubscribe. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires (usually 5 years).

Your choices

Reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any email to stop contact. Email us to ask what we hold, to correct it or to delete it, and we'll respond within 30 days.

Email us first. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
